A Goal to Remember
On March 31, 2018, the Swedish player Zlatan Ibrahimovic, currently at Milan in Italy, scored the best goal of the MLS that year in a game that will go down in the history of the sport.
That match was the first Los Angeles derby in history between the Los Angeles Galaxy and Los Angeles FC, thus creating a unique rivalry.
The Galaxy is one of the founding franchises of the MLS in 1996 and also the most awarded with a record of five trophies.
On the other hand, the LAFC in its first season with the MLS had left a good impression with two victories in two games and had its star in the Mexican Carlos Vela.It was a game to remember in United States soccer history and the beginning of a very beautiful rivalry.

When the LA Galaxy was down 3-2 at minute 77, Ibrahimović connected the ball with a long-distance volley with his right foot that ended inside the goal, exploding madness at the StubHub Center.This goal equaled the score at 3-3 starting a comeback.
Later Zlatan scored the winning goal in extra injury time and closed the match 4-3 in his favor.This feat adds to an illustrious career that includes championships with Barcelona, PSG and Inter, among others.
On the national team, the world star is Sweden’s top scorer with 62 goals and played two World Cups, in 2002 and 2006.
